Time to get down to brass tacks.

There are sixteen men set to compete in the UK based tournament, and an additional four alternatives should an injury occur. With eight matches scheduled for the first round, there is quite a lot of wrestling ahead for the WWE Universe.

Here are the preliminary matchups:

Tyler Bate vs Tucker – current PROGRESS Tag-Team Champion Tyler Bate is set to face off against Northern-Irish wrestler Tucker. At only nineteen years of age, Bate looks to prove himself to the WWE fanbase, while Tucker aims to impress his former mentor Finn Balor.

Jordan Devlin vs Danny Burch – another Irishman trained by Balor, Devlin is often touted as the 'new Finn Balor'. He will be squaring off against the fourteen year veteran London native Danny Burch.

Trent Seven vs HC Dyer – Seven is the other half of the PROGESS Tag-Team champions, the Mustache Mountain member will battle the much younger HC Dyer.

Wolfgang vs Tyson T-Bone – one of the biggest competitors in the tournament, Wolfgang will be trouble for any man who faces him. Rising to the challenge is fellow big man Tyson T-Bone, and the two veterans will surely have a mammoth collision.

Mark Andrews vs Dan Moloney – current FNW British champion Mark Andrews will wrestle midlands powerhose Dan Moloney. Andrews is giving up over sixty pounds to Moloney, so it will surely be an interesting matchup.

James Drake v Joseph Conners – hometown favourite James Drake will have stern competition in the opening round, as he will have to deal with former WCPW Champion Joseph Conners.

Pete Dunne vs Roy Johnson – the "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne will bite off the rookie Johnson’s fingers in order to claim victory. In fact, he’d probably bite them off just for fun.

Saxon Huxley vs Sam Gradwell –a battle of tall men, Huxley and Gradwell are set to engage in a hard-hitting battle that even the viewers at home will be a little sore.
