The Wyatt Family member was meant to wear this Tom Savini creation at WrestleMania 32.

These days, WWE fans will be familiar with the work of the iconic Tom Savini for his creation of Bray Wyatt’s Fiend mask. But way before the Fiend persona reared its head, Savini and his team had regularly worked on stuff for the Wyatt Family.

Taking to Twitter, frequent Savini collaborator Jason Baker has given fans a look at a mask designed for Erick Rowan to use back at WrestleMania 32. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, this badass mask didn’t end up being used at that 2016 edition of WWE’s annual Showcase of the Immortals.

At WrestleMania 32, Rowan ended up partaking in the shortest match in WrestleMania history. That bout was an impromptu one in which the bearded behemoth was defeated by the Rock in just six short seconds.

For those not familiar with Tom Savini, he’s a legendary make-up artist responsible for providing stunning practical work on movies such as Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, Creepshow, Maniac, The Burning, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, and Killing Zoe.

As for Erick Rowan, he was sadly one of the many talents released by WWE this past April 15 as part of the company’s mass Black Wednesday cuts.
