With WWE Evolution now only a matter of weeks away, WWE is reportedly keen to have Trish Stratus involved in this second outing for the company's all-women's Premium Live Event.

Per Fightful Select, WWE has an interest in Stratus appearing at Evolution and also stepping in the ring to work a match. While nothing is officially locked in as of this writing, there are "potential creative options" in mind for the next week if the WWE Hall of Famer can indeed be coaxed back into action.

If Trish does wrestle at Evolution, that would be her third match of 2025, with the Canadian having teamed with Tiffany Stratton to pick up a win over Nia Jax and Candice LeRae at Elimination Chamber back in February, and also being a part of this year's women's Royal Rumble.

Trish Stratus was one of the legends who laced up their boots at the first Evolution PLE back in 2018, where she and Lita defeated Mickie James and Alicia Fox. That was only Trish's second match in seven years - the other being the women's Rumble earlier that year - though she's had an impressive 15 matches in the time since Evolution.

Of those subsequent contests, some of the most high-profile action was a rivalry with Charlotte Flair, a match at WrestleMania 39, a WWE Women's Tag Team Title win with Becky Lynch that ultimately led to a feud between the two, and even a first-ever Money in the Bank ladder match outing for Trish.

As of now, the only confirmed match for Evolution is Jacy Jayne defending her NXT Women's Championship against Jordynne Grace, with the full PLE line-up still taking shape, not least due to the injury to Liv Morgan causing certain plans to be changed.

WWE Evolution II takes place at Atlanta's State Farm Arena on Sunday 13 July.
