History has taught us that WWE - even a slightly improved one under the new management - doesn’t play well with others, but Mickie James getting the full court press as Impact Women’s Champion in 2022 was an intriguing move from the market leader.

With no formal ties coming out of last year’s arrangement, another one-shot deal would be a headline-grabbing moment for Jordynne Grace (or whomever holds the gold), and yet again tease the unlikely scenario that WWE as an organisation is open to collaboration.
