The legendary womens wrestler was in the corner of then-Womens Champion Leilani Kai during her title defense against Wendy Richter. Although she didnt wrestle at the marquee event, she would become involved with Wendy Richter in a major way soon afterwards. When Richters relationship with WWE soured, it was Moolah who donned the Spider Lady gimmick and mask, and defeated Richter for the WWE Womens Championship in controversial fashion, in a moment now known as the Original Screwjob. In 1995, Moolah became the first woman to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and continued to make sporadic appearances thereafter. She made mostly comedy appearances with best friend Mae Young in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She got a guitar smashed over her head by Jeff Jarrett, won the Womens Championship again in 1999 against Ivory, and wrestled a match on her 80th birthday. Moolah passed away on November 2, 2007, at age 84.
