4. Triple H & X-Pac vs. Kane & Shane McMahon

One of the convoluted goals of WrestleMania 15 was to have Triple H align himself once again with Chyna and the Corporation. The WWF executed this by having Chyna, who was with Kane at the time, reunite with Triple H in their match, becoming one of the first women to turn their back on the Big Red Machine.

HHH vs Kane was a nothing match where the goal of turning HHH was more important. Although the later match on the card of X-Pac vs Shane McMahon for the European title was surprisingly sold given Shane wasn't a wrestler, condensing both matches makes much more sense to do the whole angle in one match. Rebooking it - Triple H & X-Pac vs. Kane & Shane McMahon looks better and can carry all the twists and turn shenanigans that move all the Chess pieces where they needed to be at the end of the night. Triple H screws his old friend X-Pac and Chyna screws Kane... sending HHH and Chyna over to Shane McMahon's corporation and so beginning the full-on heel run of Triple H that would see him become WWE champion by SummerSlam.
