I feel it is too often forced to the back, especially when you have a superb talent like Cesaro holding and defending for so long. On my last list I had an IC ladder with the US champion involved. As explained on the last page we can now scrap that and give the ladder treatment to a title that hasn€™t been showcased at mania since WrestleMania 23. That€™s 6 years with no US Title, let€™s bring it back. So often over the past couple of years the WWE have had a big match filled with superstars without a place on the card which have just simply been terrible matches. Last year it was the big tag match to determine the RAW and Smackdown GM, the year before it was another big tag involving the Corre. Prior to all this it used to be the Money In The Bank match which has since received its own dedicated PPV. As much as I would like to see a MITB match back at €˜Mania I feel it could be too much with the potential of 3 guys running round with briefcases. A ladder match for a title will be a great showcase of talent at the biggest event of the year. Cesaro has been an amazing champion and constantly flaunts how no American can beat him. Notice anything about the participants listed above? That€™s right; all corners of the globe are involved with no two wrestlers form the same country. That is my hook for this match. I€™m also predicting that Christian will be back at this point and is most likely returning in the next week or so. Wade Barrett has at this point lost his IC title which has him free to fight for the RAW equivalent and the other guys don€™t really have / deserve a showcase match in singles competition but all would be superb in a high tempo ladder match. The chances of Cesaro retaining against 4 other men is slim so your build up would revolve around which country is the most worthy of holding the title that represents€™Merica! Fantasy Booing Winner: Antonio Cesaro Let him carry on his great run as champ with a superb victory over 4 other guys who probably don€™t need a title. As amazing as Cesaro is, the casual fans are only aware of him as the US champion to taking that away before he wins a great match would be counter-productive. I would book a Swagger near victory as the only US competitor in the match to key up a nice feud between the two for after the event. Gotta think ahead of €˜Mania people.
