WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Matches That Would Make The Perfect Event

4. Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus

Roman Reigns Before we talk about the match, it's important to point out that The Shield wouldn't be completely broken up by this point. There would be some tension and Reigns would be like a babyface, but he would still be buddies with Ambrose & Rollins. Following the tag title match loss by Ambrose & Rollins, Reigns could talk to them backstage by saying "you two may have lost, but I will get the win for The Shield." Then Ambrose could get in his face all angry while Rollins tries to break it up. In this scenario, Reigns is the babyface. Sheamus is the heel. It would be set up at the Royal Rumble. My idea for that is Reigns eliminates Sheamus towards the end of the match. After the elimination, Reigns celebrates like it's a big deal. Sheamus jumps back on the apron to argue with him. Reigns knocks him down, which sets up somebody else dumping out Reigns over the top to the floor and he lands on top of Sheamus. They start brawling. In the weeks leading up to the match, Sheamus is positioned as a heel. Reigns starts getting cheered more, so he's the face. If you look at the way they are built, they have a lot of similarities. Neither is considered a really tall guy, but thanks to their impressive physiques they can get over big as power wrestlers. In a lot of ways, Reigns is in a spot similar to Sheamus about four years ago. The match result would see Reigns get the victory, which the announcers would declare as one of the biggest of his career. Post match, Ambrose comes out to get in his face again because he's jealous of the success of Reigns. Rollins is the middle guy that tries to break it up. All three guys end up brawling with each other and post-WrestleMania the breakup of The Shield can be one of WWE's major storylines going forward.
