WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Most Shocking Things We Witnessed

6. Cesaro Lifting Big Show

For many, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal should have ended with Big Show being crowned champion and the trophy being presented to him personally by Vince McMahon as validation for his career, but the WWE doesn't always do the most obvious thing. Instead, they chose to go with fan favourite Antonio Cesaro, surely the next up-and-coming talent in the industry, who followed up his symbolic move away from the Tag Team Championship (with an eye-popping Giant Swing) with an impressive victory in the multi-man battle. Even more symbolic - and incredibly impressive at the same time - was the way Cesaro secured victory. Channelling Hulk Hogan's WrestleMania 3 take-down of Andre The Giant himself, Cesaro summoned incredible strength to lift Show clean off the mat and throw him out of the ring. That alone should cement Cesaro's status as the next big thing, and the future Hall Of Famer was well worth the victory.
