WWE WrestleMania 30: 6 Potential "Mania Moments" That Could Happen

6. Hope Is Dead - Bray Wyatt Defeats John Cena

When rumors first began to swirl in December that a Cena/Wyatt match was being discussed for XXX, many fans scoffed at the idea. Wyatt was still very new at that point and yet to establish himself beyond some great promos. His debut match with Kane was much-maligned and it appeared he still had some work to do before he was ready for a larger stage. Fast forward to the Royal Rumble and his show-stealing match with Daniel Bryan and the sentiment began to shift. Bray was gaining momentum and getting over. The "Husky Harris" chants were all but dead and the future was much brighter for the family. Then the feud with The Shield jumped off, and the crowd started going crazy for both factions. It became obvious that fans were buying into the newcomers because they were starving for fresh talent at the top of the card as opposed to retreads of the same stars and matches we've been given for the last decade. Now the idea of Wyatt facing Cena not only makes sense, but is one of the most anticipated matches on the card. Imagine a Wyatt entrance during which the Superdome is shrouded in pitch blackness, until one at a time lanterns begin to light the aisle on each side to reveal dozens of extras in sheep masks lining Bray's way to the ring. There is little upside to a Cena win. A loss won't hurt him in the eyes of the fans. On the other hand a victory over Cena at Mania will ensure Wyatt is a made man. The only potential problem with Wyatt winning is the danger of peaking too soon. But as good as he's shown himself to be thus far, and if WWE continues grooming talent the way they have been recently that shouldn't be an issue. WWE needs to start building for the future, and if Cena's recent sentiments about wanting new people to work with are true, he'll be counting the lights at WrestleMania.
