WWE WrestleMania 30: 7 Current Problems That Need Resolving

7. Sting Is Not Booked

Stinger When the news recently broke online that NWA and WCW legend Sting was close to an agreement with WWE, the wrestling world was buzzing with anticipation. For years, the man referred to as the icon refused to do business with Vince McMahon's company and seemed very content with working in TNA wrestling. Indeed, of all the former WCW talent that have signed with WWE over the years, Sting was the only holdout. This fact made for many dream match debates over the years and it also raised more that its fair share of questions. The biggest question of them all was what if? What if Sting faced The Undertaker at WrestleMania? For pro wrestling fans, it is the great unknown. Imagining Sting challenging Undertaker's streak on the grandest stage of them all is a moment that up to now has been nothing more than a fantasy. And it appears as though it could stay that way. The reason for that is because as of this writing, nothing has been officially announced by WWE. There has been no statement, no video package, no confirmation that Sting is indeed coming to the company either now or in the future. For fans that are likely more than a little tired of hearing about it, this fact makes little difference to them. But for those WWE fans that want Sting in the company, this is extremely frustrating. And if the rumors that Sting is available yet WWE is in no rush to sign him are true, then that frustration increases tenfold. The fact is that WrestleMania is the largest event of its kind, the crowning achievement for WWE. And to imagine that the company would not do everything in its power to make number 30 as epic as possible is just too difficult for some fans to believe. That includes bringing Sting in for the event. The ship may have sailed on a match with Undertaker but that does not mean Sting cannot be worked in somehow. And as of right now, it has not yet happened.
