6. Issues With The WWE Network
The above banner was good news for WWE fans. In fact, it was great news. A living, breathing network packed with years of not only WWE programming but also from WCW, ECW and even World Class Championship Wrestling; this was every pro wrestling fan's dream come true. Raw, SmackDown, pay-per-views, original programming, pre-shows, post-shows, it was all there and all for only $9.99 a month. This was to be the ultimate WWE fan experience, featuring the biggest event of the year, WrestleMania. But thus far, the WWE Network has not been the dream that fans thought it would be. For many, it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Streaming issues, menus that are not user friendly, connectivity problems on the Xbox 360, these are but a handful of the complaints from subscribers so far. And this is only the tip of the iceberg. The main issue for WWE fans lies with WrestleMania. This was one of the primary selling points for the company, one of the ways that the Network was hyped to the masses. And right now there is major cause for concern, because if problems with the Network are not resolved before Mania, then fans could find themselves staring at a spinning wheel or error announcement on their screens on the night of April 6. WWE surely wants to put their best foot forward with the new Network and part of that includes ensuring that WrestleMania 30 come off without a hitch. But if the problems persist, then it will negatively impact not only the company but their biggest night of the year.
