9. Rob Van Dam Is There And Could Be In The Battle Royal

The latest update from the Wrestling Observer states Rob Van Dam is in New Orleans and has joined up with the WWE crew. This follows an earlier Observer report which had Van Dam down to return on the April 7th Raw the night after WrestleMania, however, WWE were considering having Van Dam appear at Mania instead. This would involve a last minute surprise appearance in the Andre the Giant battle royal. There seems a pretty good chance that this spoiler will in fact happen. The rumoured Raw return could have been misinformation on WWE's part to throw fans off the scent of his actual comeback this Sunday. Having Van Dam comeback in the Battle Royal will be a great WrestleMania moment, he's a much loved star and will add his range of athletic thrills to the contest. Having Van Dam at the show this Sunday and not using him seems a waste, and he too will want to appear for the lucrative paid spot tonight. As such, expect him to be in the battle royal.
