5. Fandango

What's the plan with Fandango in WWE currently? Is there one? There's no question that the former Johnny Curtis is a talented in-ring performer and he's got a strong personality, but he's stuck in no man's land right now. He probably could have been built up a bit more to be a part of the IC Title ladder match. Instead, he's in this battle royal. What WWE has to think about is if they want to invest in him in the long term. If he's a guy that they really believe in then this is a good time to have him "out of nowhere" to surprise people. Then they can turn him into a contender for the IC or US Title in the near future. It's not like every wrestler in WWE is going to be a main event player. That's not realistic. However, they can certainly try to develop guys into viable midcarders with a bright future. Fandango has the tools to be a good midcard wrestler. He just needs to be treated as such. Winning the battle royal would do a lot to help Fandango right now. Others probably deserve it more than him, but WWE has to look at him as somebody that has potential to make something out of a victory in this match.
