WWE WrestleMania 31 Results Predictions

8. Intercontinental Title Ladder Match

Heyman Lesnar Reigns Wrestlemania 31

This match would make sense as the opener, given how WWE have booked Money In The Bank matches as openers at previous WrestleMania shows. Bad News Barrett will defend his title against R Truth, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Dolph Ziggler, Stardust and Daniel Bryan.

It offers the electric pace and jaw dropping action that will start the show with a bang. It'll get the crowd hot and hopefully set the precedent for the show.

Placing the bout any later in the show could end up diluting the other big matches around it, as the ladder gimmick is usually a certainty to deliver big pop moments.

Given the talent in the mix, this one looks nailed on to be good. Ziggler is a fantastic seller, Bryan is arguably the best wrestler in the business, Ambrose is great and Harper looked outstanding in his last ladder effort at TLC. Barrett, Stardust and Truth are all capable.

The big danger is that it is overbooked with too many guys and subsequently too many stunts. Timing of spots could be a problem. But if it all runs seamlessly it could be a classic.

The winner looks like Daniel Bryan, with WWE seeing this as a consolation prize for not having him in the main event. Expect some spectacular spots before the Yes Man finally climbs to the belt.
