During the press conference put together to promote next year's WrestleMania 33, John Cena stated there was no chance he'd appear at 'Mania 32. As fans now know, that was false, a ruse designed by Cena to throw fans off the scent. He did show up in Texas, and it was a genuine surprise.

Much like with other supposed negatives, there will be those pointing to shoddy treatment dished out to The Wyatt Family. It's true that Bray and the boys were there to take a pasting from The Rock and Cena, but if it hadn't been them then it would have been someone else that people would complain about anyway.

Any time John Cena does appear, there's going to be a smattering of booing. There's no getting away from that, but for the most part people seemed happy to see him. He didn't dominate the show and only played a bit part.

As far as fleeting big star attraction appearances go, his was a solid one.
