Generally, blood is an absolute no-no in today's WWE product. Getting colour to heighten drama is an age-old tool in pro wrestling, but the current 'PG' climate means it's strictly off-limits for performers looking to up the excitement level. Rules are there to be broken, however, and both Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar should look to the past for inspiration.

Back at WrestleMania VIII in 1992, Randy Savage and Ric Flair landed themselves in hot water due to the fact they used blood during their match, despite the fasct it was outlawed. Despite any trouble this caused with management, it cannot be argued that it didn't make the clash more entertaining. It may be worth it for Ambrose and Lesnar to take the inevitable fine in order to shed some plasma at WrestleMania 32.

In the build up, men like Mick Foley and Terry Funk have been handing Ambrose weapons like barbed wire bats and chainsaws that he can use during the fight. Meanwhile, Lesnar is promoted like a brutal beast who has no regard for his opponent's safety. Add the characters of both men to the wild stipulation, and blood loss would make perfect sense and increased drama.
