The stipulations were simple. If Shane McMahon defeated The Undertaker inside Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania, he would gain ownership of Monday Night Raw. Simultaneously, 'The Deadman' would then be banned by Vince McMahon from ever working a match at 'Mania again. WWE booked themselves into a corner there.

Undertaker went over Shane at WrestleMania, meaning that Shane O'Mac doesn't get the keys to the WWE TV flagship kingdom. It remains to be seen what the company have planned next for his character, because it seemed almost guaranteed that they were going to down the route of having him shake things up on Monday evenings.

There's still room for the story to expand, but WWE must act quickly. Raw itself will host indication as to where the angle is heading, and it's unlikely that Shane has wrestled his last match of this current run.

At WrestleMania 32, a few things were determined during the Hell In A Cell epic. Firstly, Shane's storyline future is now in the hands of Vince, Stephanie and Triple H. Secondly, The Undertaker is free to continue his incredible appearance record at 'Mania events.
