Kalisto and Ryback really tried to ignite the flame for WrestleMania 32, but they went out first in front of a sparse crowd.

The alleged 100,000 plus who would eventually take their seats in the building were still filing in when the WWE United States Title match was pushed out in front of the cameras.

The duo contested in a good 'big man versus little man' match for close to 9 mintues. Ryback's heel run has already come to standstill, however, by virtue of the fact that he stared at the lights for his diminutive rival on the Kickoff show.

Kalisto looked smooth as silk, even though he was in there with the usually cumbersome Ryback. There were no awkward moments where plans went awry, and the match served the intended purpose.

Nonetheless, it was still a small surprise to see the masked man depart with the United States gold still in his possession.
