WWE WrestleMania 33: 10 Potential Main Events

9. Kevin Owens Vs. Goldberg

Goldberg is really over right now. In 2016. He’s more universally liked than John Cena, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. If the company is looking for a feel-good story to close out WrestleMania, it may not be a bad move to have him beat the Universal Champion.

This may seem like a crazy move, but so did Goldberg coming back a few months ago, and so did Goldberg squashing Brock Lesnar even a couple weeks ago. If they put him up against Owens, the two would likely have to work a longer match, but the result should be the same: Spear. Jackhammer. Pin. Crowd goes crazy.

Goldberg winning the title would be the end of lengthy journey, one of which WWE needs to book more often just to give fans a few happy moments now and then. Owens could always get his win back, and just having him in the main event of Mania would certainly help out his career, even in defeat.

WWE has already teased that Goldberg has one last title run in him, so if his momentum continues, they may as well go all-in.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
