WWE WrestleMania 33: 7 Potential Replacements For Seth Rollins

Here’s a novel idea: Triple H doesn’t necessarily have to have a match at WrestleMania 33.

With Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, and The Undertaker presumably featuring on the show, we’ve already got a decent amount of part-time draws, and unlike last year there’s no need for Triple H to step up to fill a void at the top of the card.

At this point it may seem unrealistic, but in fairness there isn’t a single rivalry that will be able to compete with the backstory behind Seth Rollins vs. Triple H. So rather than bodging together a substitute feud, it may be better off to simply pull Triple H from the card completely and revisit this angle when Rollins is healthy, perhaps as the main event of SummerSlam.

Obviously, Triple H’s day-to-day involvement with the company means that the chances of him sitting out are slim to none, but stranger things have happened. Now more than ever he’s got plenty on his plate, so perhaps this should be the first year since 2007 that we don’t see the Game at ‘Mania.
