WWE WrestleMania 33: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
10. Intercontinental Title: Dean Ambrose (c) Vs. Baron Corbin
Result: Ambrose lands the Dirty Deeds to retain the title (10:55).
Rating: Even ignoring the weirdness of this being pushed to the pre-show, it was a pretty underwhelming battle for the most part. Neither Ambrose nor Corbin seemed particularly motivated, resulting in a sluggish pace throughout, and the crowd weren't into it at all.
Things only picked up in the final stretch with Ambrose's terrific End of Days counter, but having Ambrose win felt totally wrong here. Corbin would've benefited hugely from nabbing the strap, and it was absolutely the right time for the title to change hands. Bizarre. 5/10
