Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H was the longest match at WrestleMania 34 (it beat out Styles vs. Nakamura by 20 seconds). It was also one of the most eye-catching in-ring debuts in the event's history, and it's already clear Rousey can make the transition from MMA to pro wrestling full time.

Before 'Mania, it was written that Ronda had to Arm Bar the hell out of Steph and put Raw's manipulative, ball-cutting demon in her place. That happened, and it was the comeuppance McMahon's tyranny as an authority figure has needed for years.

Do yourself a favour: dispense with any preconceived notions about Stephanie or Triple H, sit down to watch the match a second time and revel in the drama WWE weave when they're at their finest. This was a stellar match, not because it will win Dave Meltzer's five-star treatment, but because it was everything it needed to be.

When a match has a hot crowd, big stars, a memorable debut, some excellent teases the heels might win and a rewarding finish, it cannot be considered anything other than a success.
