1. WWE Smackdown Women's Title: Charlotte Flair (C) Vs. Asuka

Result: Charlotte makes Asuka tap to the Figure Eight to retain the title (13:05).

Rating: There's always that fan anxiety that a hyped-up match can suffer from bad chemistry or some other intangible factor, but for the most part, this match lived up to the buzz.

It was fast-paced from the start and brutally contested as you'd expect, with some devilishly good counters from both competitors cementing the desperation to win. Love her or hate her, Charlotte's drive to defeat Asuka was deeply felt.

The match loses a point, though, for the disappointing ending. There's no issue that Asuka lost, but having her tap quickly to a one-armed Figure Eight? It made her look surprisingly weak when the moment clearly should've been milked for maximum drama.

Way to blow what should've been an iconic, headline-making result. 95% of the match was very strong, though. 7/10
