WWE WrestleMania 34: Predicting The Quality Of All 14 Matches

5. Alexa Bliss Vs. Nia Jax - RAW Women's Title Match

Surely, Nia Jax is going to squash Alexa Bliss in New Orleans. Perhaps hopefully is the more accurate adverb, for the sake of the performers as well as the fans.

At least one match, irrespective of how good it is on its merits, will receive the silent treatment. The prospect of Nia Jax slowly stalking her prey, and succumbing to the jitters that haunt her matches with too much frequency, is likely to send several fans to the bar. Jax is getting over in the babyface role, on RAW, but the tens of thousands of fans in the Superdome (in addition to the 10,000 invisible ones WWE will factor into the worked total) aren't likely to make much noise knowing full well that this, on paper, stands the least chance of stealing the show.

It makes too much sense not to go this route. Alexa's nasty heel work demands a particularly humiliating reckoning, exposing Nia on this stage undermines her turn, and the time is best allocated elsewhere on a show so loaded it will only suffer through sequencing issues.

Predicted Star Rating: N/A
