The chemistry these three men shared in their scorching May 1, 2017 RAW match was ineffable. It just clicked; a match of some invention - the basement dropkick into a DDT spot in particular was awesome, especially since the convoluted spot looked not in the least bit contrived - recapturing its brilliance may prove difficult. What it lacks in the how-good-is-this? surprise factor, which lit up the searing heat in the final third, it may compensate for with a more frantic and conclusive finish with nary a Bray Wyatt in sight.

"You're looking at the future, folks," said Michael Cole on commentary. He probably didn't mean it quite so literally, but at least that future is bright.

Much like the U.S. Title Fatal 4-Way match, the Triple Threat format is also an easy platform on which to create dramatic shortcuts. Combine that with more dynamic, more over and more talented performers operating within it, and this should be as awesome as its defending champion.

Bálor and Rollins tend to dress impeccably for the Big 4 pay-per-view occasion, too, so this attraction will look as gorgeous as it will be wrestled.

Predicted Star Rating: ****
