8. The Usos Vs. The New Day Vs. The Bludgeon Brothers - SmackDown Tag Team Title Match

Provided enough time is allocated, this is more or less guaranteed to be very, very good. The inventive chemistry between The New Day and The Usos is such that the two teams could work magic with a Coal Miner's Glove stipulation. The teams wrestled one another countless times in 2017, each more electrifying than the last, and reassuringly, their truncated Fastlane match found yet more uncharted narrative territory to diffuse any accusations of over-familiarity.

Harper and Rowan Bludgeoned both teams to set this match up in a beatdown so brutal the memories of those naff woodland vignettes dimmed. We know from recent history that they, too, share an awesome chemistry with The Usos, and both teams have improved considerably in the interim. The Usos drip swagger in 2018, not face paint, and the Bludgeon Brothers' creative, powerful tandem spots lit up the dark nights of SmackDown's interminable winter season. Hopefully, even a tired crowd will muster up the enthusiasm to receive the long-overdue main card debut of the Usos.

As irritating as the chants are, they do deserve it.

Predicted Star Rating: ****
