Rumour: 'He's got long sideburns, and his hair's slicked back, he's in the Hall Of Fame with X-Pac'. Those should be the new lyrics to The Honky Tonk Man's entrance theme, especially if he shows up for a surprise cameo in New Jersey. This rumour guesses Honky will interrupt Elias as the full-time music man tries to work his concert onto the card.

Likelihood: If WWE don't have an actual match scheduled for Elias, bank on it. Honky will be there anyway for that annual HOF cast wave to the live crowd, and it'd get a decent pop if his rock n' roll guitar lick started blaring over the PA just as Elias went to sing a song running down MetLife Stadium.

We can totally see a broken guitar over Elias' head, or maybe WWE will want to give him some of that Hall Of Fame Honky rub by having the younger man crack a six-stringer over the legend's pompadour hairdo. It makes sense either way.
