Rumour: Former New England Patriot's TE Rob Gronkowski is predicted by some to make an appearance in the pre-show André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. That'd turn the NFL star from Super Bowl winner to WWE wrestler.

Likelihood: This one really isn't that hard to see happening. Gronk showed up ringside at WrestleMania 33 to cheer on old pal Mojo Rawley (remember him?) in that year's Battle Royal, and he ended up inside the ring blasting through Jinder Mahal. What's more, fans in Orlando recognised the magnitude of a then-NFL player getting physical inside a WWE ring and greeted him with a nice reaction.

Gronkowski has since retired from the football field and is thus free to pursue other projects. WWE could easily be one of those, and this would bring his flirtation with the biggest wrestling show of the year full circle. He probably wouldn't win the thing, but then he wouldn't need to. Simply seeing Gronk show up unannounced would be a nice surprise.
