If you'd claimed to foresee a Kofi Kingston WWE Title tilt at WrestleMania when calendars turned to 2019, you'd have felt a box of Booty-Os bounce off your noggin. Back in January, this was hardly on the cards, and it wouldn't have been had Kofi not replaced Ali (who had a forename back then) in that pre-Elimination Chamber Gauntlet in February.

That's when the magic started.

'KofiMania' became a thing, and it charted the remarkable rise of a guy who had already overcome so much in his career. Don't forget that The New Day, one of WWE's most successful trios ever mind you, was only formed because creative had zip for all three individually. Kingston overcame that, and he's pushed his way into Vince McMahon's frontal cortex in time for 'Mania 35.

This is where it ends, surely. What if it isn't however? What if Kofi is handed the ball of all balls and becomes WWE Champ in New Jersey? It'd be a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants way of booking the top belt, but there's something fun about that.
