WWE WrestleMania 35: 10 Shocks That Could Happen
3. Brock Lesnar's Universal Title Rampage Rolls On
By the time his limo, humvee, tank (or whatever a 'Beast Incarnate' drive) pulls up outside MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Brock Lesnar will have been Universal Champion for well over 150 days. Keep in mind that's only one reign. His last went 504 days before Roman Reigns ended it at SummerSlam 2018.
Another Shield member is on the hunt at 'Mania, and it's largely expected Seth Rollins will pull it off.
WWE must find it so, so difficult to move away from Lesnar though. He looks every bit like the World Champion Vince McMahon drools over, he possesses crossover, multi-sports appeal with a mainstream audience and he's a proven commodity. The temptation will be there to keep that strap strapped on Paul Heyman's meal ticket.
Rollins is the antithesis of Brock's power-based brutality. He's a wrestler's wrestler, and a real workhorse who proved his mettle by literally running WWE's gauntlet several times last year. Most predict a title change, which is why Lesnar defending and continuing his relentless domination would be a shock.
