WWE WrestleMania 35: 10 Things That Must Happen
7. WWE Insert A Last-Minute Replacement For Baron Corbin
For the love of God, stop the pain.
Nothing against Baron Corbin, but he's about as ill-fitting a final opponent for the legendary Kurt Angle as WWE could have found. Though true there's been heat between the pair since their GM war last year, this is not a send-off for the Olympian his biggest supporters want to see. Please, please, please can we see someone else?
John Cena isn't doing anything, and he'd have a fine exhibition with Angle. Hell, even bringing Dolph Ziggler back for an amateur roll around the ring would be more thrilling than Corbin at this point. Again, it's not Baron's fault he's in this spot, but he sticks out like a sore thumb; a sore thumb that feels more like a middle finger in our faces.
WWE can rescue this by installing someone else. John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Chad bloody Gable. Anyone. If not, then the only hope we have is that this lasts five minutes before Angle locks on a submission and gets that final tap out pop.
