In a rather strange twist of fate, WrestleMania 37 was delayed for some time because of the weather conditions. Tampa, Florida had been hit with a severe rainstorm ahead of the opening of WrestleMania but the event was indeed able to kick off just fine. However, soon afterwards, fans were told to seek shelter as another severe storm delayed the opening match.
Naturally, fans had a lot to say about the irony of the situation, particularly because of the fact that the first event in over a year to feature fans saw the weather temporarily throw a spanner in the works.
