2. Seth Rollins Vs. Cody Rhodes
Result: Cody puts Seth down after a third Cross Rhodes (21:40).
Rating: No surprises here for Seth's mystery opponent, of course, and it was so great to see these two going at it, the result of which largely lived up to the hype.
The pacing was excellent, and there were some extremely gnarly bumps - especially the suplex over the top rope - ensuring that they quickly had the crowd eating out of the palms of their hands.
A Cody win was never in doubt, but the pair certainly made a Seth victory feel possible, especially after that Pedigree. Yet this was Cody's match to win and what an absolutely spectacular debut/return it was.
It was weird as hell to see Cody in a WWE ring, but in the best way possible. 8/10
