WWE WrestleMania 38 Main Event Revealed?

With The Rock out of the picture, could THIS be WrestleMania 38's main event?

It's looking likely that the ongoing Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar storyline will stretch all the way to WrestleMania 38.

This is according to Dave Meltzer, who writes in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE's lack of options for its biggest show of the year will probably lead to another big match.

WWE still has ground to cover with the duo after yesterday's Crown Jewel show. Their Universal Title fight ended on a dirty finish featuring a referee bump, the belt being used as a weapon, Paul Heyman's allegiance coming into question, and interference from The Usos. Reigns successfully retained through the storm of shenanigans, with WWE keeping the feud going after the show.

Meltzer reported earlier in October that the Reigns/Lesnar rivalry wouldn't be ending in Saudi Arabia as WWE wanted to get multiple shows out of it. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre has also been mentioned as a potential Reigns opponent in late 2021, though WWE could conceivably book this between instalments in the Reigns/Lesnar feud.

Lesnar is currently advertised for Royal Rumble 2022 in January, though "card is subject to change" always applies in WWE.
