WWE WrestleMania 40: 20 Things That Must Happen

11. Night 1 Ends With Bloody Babyfaces!

WWE WrestleMania 40 XL Cody Rhodes
WWE

Bloodline rules.

Rock cracking Cody wide open on Raw got a lot of people talking recently. It was quite the closing segment for WWE's flagship show, and proved that blood does still have a place on the product when used properly and sparingly. Ignore the latter word for now though, 'cause it'll be needed again come the final minutes of Saturday night.

Picture the scene: The Rock has pinned Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre is grinning from ear-to-ear, Roman Reigns is content and the babyfaces have been devastated. Satisfied? Nah, The Bloodline wouldn't be close. Sensing opportunity, Rock, Reigns and maybe even McIntyre would bloody up the top heroes and send a message.

What a parting shot for WrestleMania 40's kick off night that'd be - Cody and Seth annihilated and swimming in a sea of their own claret as the show goes off the air and Michael Cole screams about vengeance 24 hours later. Blood, blood, gallons of the stuff.

This feud merits it.
