Asuka is about to be bumped from the Raw Women's Title picture.

She deserves a massive pat on the back for almost single-handedly carrying the division post-Becky Lynch though. That cannot have been easy, especially when WWE froze her out so Sasha Banks could get some spotlight mid-Bayley feud. Now, Asuka is background noise for the obvious Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair feud.

Flair has been colluding with Sonya Deville on Monday nights lately. Expect that to continue after WrestleMania Backlash - Rhea will retain her strap on Sunday, and she'll probably do it by "stealing" Charlotte's win on an already-downed Asuka. That'll lead to a straight up one-on-one bout between the pair.

Ripley has come across as a tweener recently, so taking advantage of Asuka's woes isn't a problem. WWE, however, will have to present her as 100% babyface against Charlotte. There's no way Flair can be the sympathetic figure in that rivalry.
