WWE WrestleMania: Every Women's Championship Match Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Charlotte Flair (c) Vs. Asuka - WWE SmackDown Women's Championship (WrestleMania 34)

By process of elimination, i.e. number one on this list is a triple threat encounter, Charlotte Flair and Asuka's SmackDown Women's Championship match from WrestleMania 34 was 'Mania's greatest singles match contested for a women's title.

Held back only by Asuka's unpinned streak culminating earlier than it needed to, this was WWE at its absolute best. They had built Asuka up as this unstoppable force that no-one could stop. Her run as NXT Women's Champion was the best title run ever by a woman in WWE for this writer's money, and her initial run on the main roster was equally as great.

Pairing Asuka with Charlotte for 'The Empress of Tomorrow's' WrestleMania debut was the best decision possible. Despite all her naysayers, there's no denying the workhorse mentality of 'The Queen'. She proved this against Asuka with some spectacular spots throughout this contest.

Charlotte executed a Spanish fly at one stage, a move not often seen in WWE, let alone by women in WWE. Meanwhile, Asuke reversed Flair's diving moonsault into a triangle choke. Again, something not often seen in the 'E, especially as it pertains to women.

All in all, their bout was superb. There hasn't been a singles Women's Championship match at 'Mania that has been better than this. It wasn't the undisputed best women's title 'Mania match, though...
