WWE WrestleMania: Every Women's Championship Match Ranked From Worst To Best

19. Kabuki Warriors (c) Vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross - WWE Women's Tag Championships (WrestleMania 35)

Right, little disclaimer: going forward, the matches aren't necessarily bad in terms of their in-ring quality, nor were the storylines in any way completely dire booking (in most cases, anyway).

Unfortunately for The Kabuki Warriors' Women's Tag Team Championships defence against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, it came in a difficult position. It had the duty of kicking off night one of WrestleMania 36, being the first 'Mania match (aside from the pre-show's Cesaro vs. Drew Gulak) to not feature a live audience.

It had a lot to live up to, and sadly, it just couldn't fulfil those expectations.

Overall, it wasn't a bad match; it just followed an extremely basic concept. Asuka and Kairi Sane beat down on Nikki, controlling the match for prolonged periods of time, ultimately leading to the big hot tag. Bliss got the win via Twisted Bliss, bringing an end to The Kabuki Warriors' meaningless title run, but at the same time, it also started their own pointless reign.

Easily the weakest women's title match of the weekend, this did very little with regards to the progression of WWE's women's tag division. No surprise there then, sadly.
