Do you see the trend forming?

WWE are incapable of successfully booking a multi-women contest at WrestleMania. 'Mania 33's SmackDown Women's Championship encounter between Natalya, Naomi, Mickie James, Carmella, Becky Lynch, and defending champion Alexa Bliss proved this.

It didn't help matters that they were given the death spot. They had to follow arguably the best match in the saga of Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg, and also came right before the main event between Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.

Fair enough, the six ladies involved did well with the just under six minutes that they were given. You have to look at this from an overall perspective, though, and thus, it just didn't fit being on a platform like WrestleMania, especially not in 2017 when the women are supposed to be taken seriously.

Proceedings went by far too quickly - the match itself works out at a minute apiece for each participant to get their offence in. Even James f*cking Ellsworth ate a Bexploder Suplex for his troubles at one stage, something that definitely didn't belong on a 'Mania billing.

The only aspect saving this was Naomi getting a big championship victory in her hometown after being forced to vacate the strap due to injury just a month prior. Good for her.
