WWE WrestleMania Mixtape: Booking The Perfect ’Mania

4. Best Commentary Team

Jim Ross Jerry Lawler
WWE.com

Percentage Of Votes: 46.3%.

Other Choices: Jim Ross and Paul Heyman (26.3%), Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan (21.6%), Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura (5.8%).

Some categories exposed what demographic voted more than others. For example, Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler were proclaimed the greatest announce team in WrestleMania history by quite a big margin, and it was JR and Paul Heyman (also from the Attitude era) who came in second.

That's a minor travesty as far as this fan is concerned.

The timeless voices of Gorilla Monsoon, Bobby Heenan and Jesse Ventura could only manage a measly 27.4% between them despite pinning down most of the opening 10 'Mania supercards. In fairness, it's not like having JR and the 'King' on comms would be a bad thing.
