WWE WrestleMania 30: 7 Things That Will Make Us Mark Out
7. Austin. Rock. Enough Said.
If there is anything wrestling fans love, it is a great big heaping portion of nostalgia. They will have the opportunity to relive their fondest childhood memories Sunday night as two of the greatest stars in WWE history are under the same roof at the event they helped define during the highly successful Attitude Era. It was announce late last week that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would return to the company for WrestleMania 30. Then, Saturday night, The Rock Tweeted a photo of himself in New Orleans with a caption that indicated that he, too, would partake in the Sunday's broadcast. It will mark the first time since 2011's WrestleMania 27 that fans have had the opportunity to see a potential face-to-face between the two. Austin vs. Rock is, arguably, the greatest rivalry in the history of the event. Their feud spawned three legitimate main events, including Austin's final bout in 2003 at WrestleMania XIX, and one of the greatest show-closing contests ever in their WrestleMania X-Seven match. It is only fitting that, on a night in which WWE celebrates 30 years of WrestleMania, that they would appear together in some form or fashion. If that happens, every fan who ever lived through their rivalry or watched any of their epic encounters would mark out, even if it was in something as short and meaningless as a backstage segment between matches.
