WWE WrestleMania 30: 7 Things That Will Make Us Mark Out
3. One Last Run
As is the case at every WrestleMania, the Hall of Fame class will appear before the fans and soak in their adulation one last time. This year, 70,000-plus fans will show respect to the great performers who helped lay the foundation for the industry they enjoy today. One of those performers, the 2014 headliner, is the Ultimate Warrior. What better way to cap off his return to the company than with one more sprint to the squared circle, his music blaring and those inside the Mercedes Superdome exploding into huge ovation for the former WWE and Intercontinental champion? Sure, he would probably blow up before he got to the end of the entrance ramp and he would probably not accomplish the feat with the speed that he once did. But if Warrior could even come close to matching the intensity with which he entered arenas throughout the late-1980s and early-1990s, it would be a moment that would have those who grew up on the face-painted maniac marking out both internally and externally. More importantly, it would give a man who had served as a whipping boy for the wrestling industry for so long one last great, memorable moment under the bright lights of WrestleMania. One of the great performers in the history of the event, Warrior's matches with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage are integral parts of the show's legacy and for him to be recognized for his contributions to WWE and its biggest spectacle would be truly special.
