WWE WrestleMania 30: 7 Things That Will Make Us Mark Out
2. Return Of The Best
Since CM Punk walked out of WWE the night after the Royal Rumble in January, fans have waited anxiously for him to put aside his differences with the company and return to work. As of Sunday morning, just hours before the biggest show of the year, that has not happened. That there are hours to go until the event, however, leaves a glimmer of hope that he will walk the aisle at WrestleMania to the glee and excitement of his most loyal and dedicated fans. What he would do is a major question. Would he cut one of his infamous pipe bomb promos, explaining why he left and calling out prominent members of WWE management? What if his return led to a "stone cold" confrontation with a WWE legend, leading to a match between the two a year from now at WrestleMania 31? Maybe he would get involved in the Daniel Bryan-Triple H match and payback the Authority for some of what they put him through earlier this year, continuing an angle that would lead to a bout with Triple H at Extreme Rules. There are plenty of options for the self-proclaimed Best in the World, some better than others. Regardless of what would unfold in the event of a CM Punk return, fans would treat Punk with great admiration, leading to one of the loudest pops of the entire show.
