WWE: 10 Reasons Triple H Is Going To Make A Great Owner

10. The Success Of Wrestlemania XXX

In recent years WWE's showcase event Wrestlemania had started to attract lot of critics. Wrestlemania 27 got slated for the terribly executed main event featuring The Miz, Wrestlemania 28 was a marked improvement but still had its critics and Wrestlemania 29 received backlash for its poorly rehashed version of Rock vs Cena (in fairness it was later revealed that The Rock got seriously injured in the match). Wrestlemania 30 was the first in a number of years that got near universal praise. Some have even gone as far as comparing it to the most beloved WWE event of all time €“ Wrestlemania 17. We saw the continued rise of superstars such as Cesaro and The Shield. Most of the storylines came to a satisfying conclusion, there were great matches throughout, a shocking end to the Undertaker€™s infamous streak and to top it off the show was closed by a perfectly executed main event. Though the figure is skewed by WWE network subscriptions, from a commercial standpoint this year's Wrestlemania was also a huge success. WrestleMania 30 reached a record 1 million households in the U.S. alone, the first time the annual event has eclipsed this mark domestically. Reports later revealed that Wrestlemania 30 was the first in which Vince McMahon took a backseat and allowed HHH and Stephanie McMahon to take charge of the production. If the event is a sign of things to come then it will be the first of many must see events under the reign of HHH.
