WWE: 10 Reasons Triple H Is Going To Make A Great Owner
8. The Rise Of Daniel Bryan
Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, RVD, Booker T, Goldberg, CM Punk, Scott Steiner. Just a small list of careers HHH has been accused of trying to sabotage and using his influence to hold back. Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Umaga, Chris Benoit. That second list is the one the critics like to conveniently forget. In contrast it is a list of some of the careers that have directly benefited from HHHs onscreen involvement. John Cena and Batista were both legitimised by being put over cleanly in consecutive Wrestlemania Main Events. Cena may well have been on his way, Batista on the other hand wouldnt have even been in that position if not handpicked to be part of Evolution. Ortons stock also skyrocketed by association with the stable. Granted some of the other names never really worked out in the long term, but not even the most ardent opposition could hold HHH responsible. Umagas tragic and premature death was a surprise to all. There is not a person walking the face of the earth who could have predicted how Chris Benoits life would end. As reported HHH is penciled in to take on Roman Reigns at Summerslam, just like Daniel Bryans road to Wrestlemania there will probably be some speed bumps along the way. When the dust settles however, the smart money is once again on HHH losing cleanly and Reigns being yet another name added to that under appreciated list.
