WWE: 10 Reasons Triple H Is Going To Make A Great Owner
7. His Focus On Secondary Championships
When HHH started to have more input into the executive side of the WWE, it was reported that one of the changes he wanted to make was to bring more focus back to the Tag Team Division. As a result in the last two years tag team wrestling in the WWE has seen a much needed resurgence. Memorable battles between the Rhodes Brothers and the Shield have been some of the best in the history of the division. Though often on the losing end, the fact that the current WWE Tag Team Champions the Usos have been partly featured in the headline Evolution vs Shield feud adds further credibility to the division. This would have been unthinkable just four years ago when makeshift teams such as Kofi Kingston and R Truth were representing it as Champions. Now under the guidance of HHH it looks like the Intercontinental Championship is the next to undergo a long overdue renaissance. Far removed from its glory days the Championship had become obsolete. With the introduction of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament featuring several former main eventers the Championship looks like it may finally be re-established as a key part of the WWE. With an abundance of performers treading water in the WWE's midcard, a credible secondary title will at least give them something worthwhile to work with and their characters a much needed sense of direction.
