A lot of these smaller wrestlers are considered underdogs based on their size. Jeff Hardy was one of the better underdogs that also was popular with the fans because he was a daredevil as well. There was nothing he wouldn't do to try to win a match and excite the crowd. He's a guy that's always been great as a babyface. The heel role just doesn't work for him. Hardy won the WWE Title once and the World Title twice. Hardy won his first WWE Title from Edge in a Triple Threat match with Triple H from the Armageddon PPV in December 2008. It was a huge moment in his career because he had been in WWE as a regular for about a decade by that point, so fans were really happy for him. They probably should have waited to do it at WrestleMania 25 a few months later, but it was still a cool moment. His two World Title reigns took place on the Smackdown brand. He beat Edge for the World Title at Extreme Rules in June of 2009, but then lost it right away due to CM Punk cashing in a Money in the Bank contract. Hardy got it back a month later, held it for another month and dropped it back to Punk. Then Hardy left WWE at age 32 in 2009. If he never left WWE he'd probably have many more reigns, but he chose to go and he may never be back. Does Jeff Hardy really weigh more than eight former World Champions? Probably not, but that's what he's listed as on WWE.com so that's what we're using.
