WWE's 53 Wrestlers Ranked From Worst To Best

33. Mark Henry

wwe roster
2K Sports

Pros:

1. Insanely strong

2. Has improved a lot in the last 5 years

3. Still possesses some credibility due to his size and reputation as ‘World’s Strongest Man’

Cons:

1. Definitely on the downside of his career

2. Despite having said credibility, he has lost a lot of it already

3. Injury prone

After many years of being considered a flop, Henry had his best year in 2011, enjoying a lengthy run as World Heavyweight Champion, and was the top heel on SmackDown. He even managed to put on one of the best performances in recent memory with his fake retirement segment:

While that led to a short-lived (and much-deserved) run in the World Title picture, Henry soon found himself falling back down the card. Like his fellow aging giants Kane and Big Show, Henry has suffered from constant, unexplained face/heel turns in recent years, which shows a lack of creativity on WWE’s part.

Henry’s biggest strength is undoubtedly his massive bulk and legitimacy as an actual strongman. As a result, he has a bit more credibility, which allows him to put over younger stars, which gives him a useful spot on the card.

Sadly, Henry’s career is nearing its end, and he’ll probably be going on his final run sometime soon. He has gotten much better over time, and despite some difficult matches, he has certainly come a long way from being Mr. ‘Sexual Chocolate’.

Final Rating: **3/4
