WWE's 53 Wrestlers Ranked From Worst To Best

19. Luke Harper

wwe roster
WWE.com

Pros:

1. Surprisingly agile for a man of his stature

2. Can work well in matches anywhere on the card

3. Doesn’t need to say much to get a fan reaction

Cons:

1. Got lost in the shuffle after splitting from the Wyatt Family (without any storyline justification)

2. His matches are thrown together at random, and they somehow expect him to get over that way

3. Looks more like a psychopathic hobo you’d find at a truck stop than a wrestler

Unfortunately, like many people on this list, Harper was the victim of bad booking decisions. He belonged with the Wyatt Family, but their unexplained split left him high and dry. While he did enjoy some mild success as a gun for hire for the Authority, he has since lost more matches than he has won.

Worse yet, WWE’s creative situation is so chaotic that they cannot seem to book any midcarders properly, including Harper. Recently, he has been feuding with Dean Ambrose over…well…over the fact that both of them wear wife beaters, it seems.

Even though Harper is 35, he still has a place on the WWE roster. He’s very versatile and can work well in either singles or tag team competition. All he needs now is some better booking and a long-term storyline direction; two things that should not be that hard to come up with.

Final Rating: ***3/4
